Bio: Liana Werner-Gray is a sought-after speaker and advocate for natural healing using a healthy diet and lifestyle. After healing herself of many negative health conditions through embracing a natural lifestyle. Werner-Gray is the founder and owner of The Earth Diet, where she directs a team that helps people all over the world find recipes that work for them. Through her company, she has helped thousands of people improve, and in some cases even entirely heal, conditions such as cancer, diabetes, addictions, depression, acne, heart disease, obesity, and more. Werner-Gray was born and raised in Australia. In her final year of schooling she received the school’s award for the arts, the Liana Nappi Award. She was named Miss Earth Australia in 2009 by People’s Choice, the third largest beauty pageant in the world. During the same competition, she was also awarded “Best in Environmental Speech,” “Green Achievers,” and the “Innovators Award.” Werner-Gray has starred in films that received international praise and awards. She continues to work in the entertainment business, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle. Her intention is to live her life the best she can, and hopefully to inspire others to live the lives of their dreams through a healthy lifestyle. Werner-Gray currently lives in New York City.

Bio: As a competitive runner in high school and college, Laura fueled up before workouts with pizza, bagels, and sweets. By the time practice began, she felt bloated and fatigued. Laura set out to clean up her diet, and taught herself to cook in her small college apartment. As her athletic performance improved, Laura decided to pursue a career in nutrition. Before attending graduate school for nutrition, she spent a year teaching English in South Korea. After reading "The China Study" while living in Korea, Laura was inspired to adopt a plant-based lifestyle. Upon her return to NY, Laura began an internship on an organic farm. This experience strengthened her interest in organic and local agriculture. To further her knowledge of holistic health, Laura completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program while attending graduate school. Through yoga, she discovered ayurveda, an ancient Indian healing science. Her study of ayurveda has formed the basis for the nutrition and health principles that she lives by. Laura currently works at Organic Corner, a health market and juice bar on Long Island, where she met Liana.

Bio: Hailing from the Isle of Long, Salvatore has spent a good portion of his 20s writing music, touring with bands, and usually living on the wild side of life. At a crossroads with health, Sal found a new interest in nourishing foods inspired by his friend Liana Werner-Gray. Sal began to incorporate recipes from The Earth Diet into his life and felt the incredible benefits of clean conscious eating. Bio: Kate McFadden is 26 years young from Long Island, New York and is happy to be living The Earth Diet lifestyle for over a year after becoming great friends with Liana. In her early teens through early 20’s she was taking anti-depressants and was told she would need to take for the remainder of her life. By 21 she ditched the medications (as she had gained 50 lbs!) and made the mental switch that she would do whatever it took to become a positive, healthy influence for those around her. She started by changing herself. At 23 Kate landed her first “real” job working as a Counselor with people diagnosed with Schizophrenia. She soon came to realize that they also had many medical issues such as diabetes and witnessed firsthand that it was directly related to their diet. Kate wanted to assist them but she found herself eating the same foods they were eating out of convenience! Kate then met Liana and she introduced her to The Earth Diet. She immediately began lemon water and beet juice first thing every morning. Over the summer of 2012 Kate completed her first juice cleanse of 21 days. She continued to learn about health over the year and became a certified raw food chef. She has inspired a healthier living within her family and co-workers at her last job! Currently Kate is happily working for The Earth Diet and excited about the future!
