Takeaways from today: Remember that anything you want to eat and enjoy for the rest of your life – you can! In an “upgraded way”, using quality wholesome ingredients. It will still taste really good and be way better for you! This includes cupcakes, chocolate, burgers etc!
Breakfast: I was doing intermittent fasting until 12 noon so I just had a ginger tea.
Lunch: was at Nashville’s local organic supermarket, the Turnip Truck, love it here so much! I got a fresh green juice made with broccoli, celery, spinach, apple, cucumber, ginger, and lemon. I also got some Living raw chocolate.
Afternoon snack: at the airport was Simple Mills crackers with a turkey stick. Wow, this combo 🙌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I bought these from the Turnip Truck. On the plane, I had a black tea with lemon and a water with lemon.
Dinner: was at Maria Marlowe’s holiday party back in NYC! Was great seeing everyone there, especially functional medicine doctor Rob Graham and his wife Julie! I had a plate of roasted broccoli and cauliflower, cabbage, chickpeas, and some cassava chips. Also had some hummus with Mary’s Gone Crackers. And then had 4 cupcakes! Maria made them with the Simple Mills mix and frosting. A great mix to use this holiday season if you are making cupcakes! Without all the crazy processes ingredients.
