Takeaways from today:
1. Mono eating (monotrophic) is when you eat only one thing at a time, for example, bananas for breakfast, watermelon for lunch, quinoa for dinner. It’s as least amount of food combining as possible. People do this to give their digestive system a break, so it’s not having to break down a million ingredients in the gut. Today I ate juice, cacao overnight oats (chia seeds, oats, coconut, cacao) and juice. It was very mono. It’s great to do mono often! It increases energy and helps to keep a healthy digestive system!
2. The podcast interview I had on Max Goldberg’s podcast I realized that this message may not be enforced enough. We have to remember that giving up is never an option, it’s certainly not always easy, there are challenges every day. But no matter what we can make small changes every day that improve our lives and absolutely everything is healable. We do not have to be stuck in bondage with a health issue or addiction for our entire lives – absolutely not!
Breakfast: I fasted today for 14 hours so I skipped breakfast.
Lunch: I went to Juice Press and had a green juice, cacao overnight oats, and chocolate.
Afternoon snack: I recorded the podcast with Max Goldberg and after we went to Juice Generation and I had “The Cure” shot which has apple cider vinegar, horseradish, ginger, turmeric, garlic, habanero pepper, lemon, and orange.
Dinner: Back at Juice Press and had another cacao overnight oats, aloe water, and chocolate hazelnut bar. Now it’s 7:30 so I will fast again until at least 9:30am – so 14 hours of fasting.
