Takeaways from today:
– Aim for progress, not perfection.
Breakfast: I fasted until 11:30am. The first thing I had was an organic dark chocolate peppermint patty sweetened with honey. I had this at Studio 71 my favorite hair salon in the Hamptons! Ludby is an amazing stylist! He has my books there for you to read when getting your hair done too! Some healthy nourishment for the brain. And he uses way less chemical products than conventional salons. He selects products that are as toxic free as possible. I also had ginger tea.
I gave Ludby a holiday gift that had some Explore Cuisine edamame spaghetti and a Hu Kitchen chocolate almond butter bar. These 2 make an awesome combination gift – you can’t go wrong with this gift! And if you get it on Vitacost it can be under $10. But when you give it to people it seems such higher value because it’s good quality organic and non-GMO ingredients.
Lunch: For lunch I had the CBD infused pesto sauce on edamame spaghetti that I made for News 12. I love working with host Mary Mucci! We all enjoyed it after we filmed it. It is so so so delicious. I’ll share the recipe once the segment airs on television in a few weeks. I’ll also share all the benefits of CBD because wow there are so many and it might be a good fit for your body! CBD doesn’t work for everyone but some people really love it! This was 30 grams of protein. The recipe for the pesto sauce is in my “10-Minute Recipes” book.
For an afternoon snack, I had a box of Simple Mills crackers.
Dessert: I had a bar of Hu Kitchen hazelnut chocolate.
Enjoy some of these behind the scene shots!
