This matcha latte is the perfect plant-based pick me up! Matcha is high in antioxidants and will help you stay focused all day.
MATCHA LATTE with WHIPPED COCONUT CREAM
Time: 10 minutes / Serves: 1
2 cans organic coconut cream, refrigerated overnight
1 tsp. organic matcha powder
1 tbsp. Hot water
1 cup Sproud plant-based milk
1 tsp. Nutiva coconut sugar (optional)
Add matcha powder to your desired glass along with hot water.
Use a whisk until matcha is completely dissolved. You can also use a spoon or blender.
Once the matcha is completely dissolved, pour in the Sproud milk with ice.
Scoop out top, hardened part of coconut cream can. (the bottom will be liquid).
In mixing bowl, whip coconut cream until light and fluffy.
Place on top of matcha latte and garnish with matcha powder if desired.
