Beef Burritos

Serves 6

Ingredients:
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1 lb. organic grass-fed beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-½ tsp. ground cumin
  • ½ tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. chili powder or 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 6 tortillas/burritos
  • Toppings of your choice: nutritional yeast, ketchup, salsa, hot sauce, refried beans, organic cheese, avocado, cucumber, grated carrot, fresh cilantro, diced lettuce, diced pepper, etc.
Instructions:
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the oil and cook beef for about 3-4 minutes or until brown.
  2. Add garlic, onion, chili powder, cumin, turmeric, salt and pepper to the meat. Cook until onion becomes tender, about 7 minutes.
  3. In each tortilla, place ¼ cup of meat and then add your favorite toppings. Enjoy.
