Beef Burritos
Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 lb. organic grass-fed beef
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-½ tsp. ground cumin
- ½ tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. chili powder or 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- 6 tortillas/burritos
- Toppings of your choice: nutritional yeast, ketchup, salsa, hot sauce, refried beans, organic cheese, avocado, cucumber, grated carrot, fresh cilantro, diced lettuce, diced pepper, etc.
Instructions:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the oil and cook beef for about 3-4 minutes or until brown.
- Add garlic, onion, chili powder, cumin, turmeric, salt and pepper to the meat. Cook until onion becomes tender, about 7 minutes.
- In each tortilla, place ¼ cup of meat and then add your favorite toppings. Enjoy.
