Almond milk

Total time: 5 minutes
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup raw almonds, soaked for 4
hours
4 cups filtered water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 seedless dates, optional (or
use figs, 1 tablespoon honey, or
maple syrup)
Pinch of sea salt

Actions:
1. Pop the almonds out of their skins after
soaking and add to a blender with all the
other ingredients.
2. Mix until a smooth consistency is
achieved.
3. Strain the Almond Milk with a cheesecloth
to remove any lumps.
4. Drink or place in the fridge for up to 7
days.
