Monday Eating in Fort Lauderdale: Fasted, Ginger Tea, Organic Salad Bar, Homemade Cheesey Chicken Casserole with GF PastaJun 09, 2021
Hello everybody and happy Monday!! I started my week by fasting until 5 pm today and had ginger tea throughout my day and lots of water.
I broke the fast with green juice and then had some Evolved chocolate with brazil and macadamia nuts. Evolved creates gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and 100% organic products like chocolate bars, truffles, spreads, and more! They are a great option when you are craving something sweet! I went to the Whole Foods Market in Fort Lauderdale on North Federal Highway and was blown away with their store! They had the first organic salad bar I have ever seen at any Whole Foods in the US, and I have been to a lot of them! I packed a box with organic greens!! So exciting! I grabbed Primal Kitchen Balsamic Vinaigrette with avocado oil for my dressing and had that salad for dinner along with a cheesy broccoli chicken casserole with gluten free brown rice pasta! I made the cheesy broccoli chicken casserole, dairy-free by using Daiya vegan cheese, which is a great cheese alternative that is 100% plant-based. Primal Kitchen is amazing because they make gluten-free, vegan, soy-free, non-GMO dressings, marinades, and so much more! Last but not least, dessert was a piece of evolved cashew butter chocolate and ginger tea.
