A Day of Eating- Kicking off the Weekend
Apr 03, 2021It's been a busy week with the Earth Diet Team in town, so I started to wind down a bit for the weekend today. Breakfast was sprouted oats topped with local honey from my friend's farm, flax, chia, and hemp seeds- definitely try to fit in as many nutrient dense foods as I can with each meal! I also had my Anxiety Free Supplements, as always.
For a mid-morning snack, I had some of the nut-free nougat bars that I made the other day and my favorite matcha from Pique. I say it all the time, but their teas are truly so clean and tasty!
Lunch was leftover Explore Cuisine Lasagna with organic ground bison and vegan cheese with a side salad topped with beets, avocado, broccoli sprouts, and red onions. It was a perfect balanced meal!
I'm planning to start my first garden, so in the afternoon I began checking out some organic soils to use. I'm going to do everything right from the start to produce the cleanest fresh produce possible!
Finally, I made a white Cappello's pizza for dinner. Cooler temperatures this weekend called for dinner by the fire! So yum.
