The Earth Diet Principles

Oct 27, 2020
The Earth Diet is relatively simple in principle. This lifestyle replaces all processed ingredients with ingredients that Earth naturally provides.
Do:

• Eat real food made from Earth’s natural ingredients. If the Earth does not grow it, don’t use it!
• Use organic produce as much as possible.
• Juice daily for cellular nutrition.
• Grow your own produce, if possible.
• Use produce that is locally grown as much as possible.
• Use seasonal produce as much as possible.
• Before every meal, ask: “Am I getting nutrition from this?”
• Eat smartly. Rely on your wisdom and natural instincts.
• Eat a majority of raw, plant-based foods: fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds.
• Nourish your body regularly. Eat small, regular meals spread out by two to three hours.
• Eat many simple meals: “mono” meals (of one food only) or The Earth Diet recipes that have three to five ingredients.
• Prepare and cook your meals yourself as much as possible.
• Drink two to three liters of clean, filtered water every day.
• Drink Lemon Water upon rising every day to detoxify and alkalize your body. This also gives your body a quick, high infusion of antioxidant vitamin C.
• Eat food that makes you happy.
• Use fish that is wild-caught rather than farm-raised.
• Use eggs from chickens that range free, are fed non-GMO feed grown without pesticides, and are raised without growth hormones and antibiotics.
• Use organic meat from animals that range free, are fed non-GMO feed grown without pesticides and are raised without growth hormones and antibiotics.
• Make sure to eat raw, organic chocolate occasionally.
• Practice daily affirmations, such as: “I deserve superb health” and “I love myself and eat the best food from Mother Earth that nourishes my body.”
• Find your own balance and maintain it.
• Use natural skin products to avoid chemicals. If you can’t eat something, don’t put it on your skin.
• Exercise regularly
• Always remember: Nutrients in, toxins out.
• Eat when you’re feeling relaxed.
• Share food with people you love.
• Eat outdoors, surrounded by nature.
• Define your health dreams and know they are possible.
• Understand that every negative health condition can be improved with nutritious food.
• Commit to The Earth Diet one day at a time, one choice at a time.
• Choose to feel good.
• Choose again and again.
• Remember that every journey takes place one step at a time.
• Do the best you can.
• Realize how good a person you really are.
• Know that health is an ongoing process.
• Don’t be too hard on yourself.
• Have fun.

Don’t:

• Eat refined sugar. Instead, for sweetness use dates, fruits, raw honey, maple syrup, unprocessed cane sugar, agave, and stevia.
• Consume dairy. Instead, use nut milk and seed milk.
• Consume soy.
• Consume gluten (unless you have a healthy digestive system).
• Consume genetically modified (GMO) foods.
• Consume chemical additives, like preservatives and stabilizers.
• Consume highly processed foods.
• Consume foods that have ingredients you cannot pronounce.
• Consume any food product that contains over 30 ingredients unless it is home-cooked.
• Eat packaged foods that are fast, cheap, easy, and fake.
• Eat processed white table salt. Instead use clean salts that provide the body with minerals, such as Himalayan salt and Celtic sea salt.
• Eat generic “vegetable oil.” Instead use oils that are nourishing for the body, like flaxseed oil, extra-virgin coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil, and avocado oil.
